Zdeponowany zbiór zanonimizowanych danych zawiera dwa transkrypty grupowych wywiadów fokusowych (FGI, ok. 1,5 godz.) przeprowadzonych we wrześniu 2022 r. z 7 dziennikarzami oraz 7 członkami organizacji pozarządowych z następujących województw: lubelskie, lubuskie, mazowieckie, podkarpackie i śląskie. Dodatkowo zdeponowane zostały wersje edytowalne w formacie ODT.
Transkrypty zawierają część danych zebranych w ramach projektu "Demokratyzacja i autokratyzacja w wielopoziomowych demokracjach. Studium przypadku Polski", finansowanego z Narodowego Centrum Nauki (OPUS 20). Jego celem jest zbadanie zmian demokratycznych lub autokratycznych w ramach struktur regionalnych i lokalnych w państwie oraz ich relacji z podobnymi procesami na poziomie krajowym (centralnym) – skupiając się na wpływie szczebla krajowego na niższe poziomy terytorialne. Badany jest przypadek Polski w latach 2010-2023 (trzy pełne kadencje struktur lokalnych i regionalnych – z naciskiem odpowiednio na miasta i województwa).
