Code written in Fortran to simulate and adiabatic cloud parcel with stochastic microphysics. The code uses the super-droplet method in a 1-D framework, where only the vertical position of the particles are tracked. The stochastic approach imposes vertical velocity fluctuations due to turbulence and the scalars are mixed via a mixing model. The aim is to evaluate the impact of small scale turbulence on the WBF mechanism, which we have concluded to be very significant for the typical grid-box size range used in climate and weather simulations. A detailed description of the model as well as the discussion of the results can be found in the paper by Abade, G. and Albuquerque, D., published in the Quarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society (DOI: 10.1002/qj.4775).
The code has been developed in the Fortran language and the output is generated in text files with *.dat extension as tab separated columns.
The user will find the source code in the folder named src. In the Input folder, there is an example input file as well as a Fortran script to generate other input files with different parameters. See the file for more details.

In the root folder, there is a file called compile.sh, which is a shell script to create the necessary folders and compile the code.
