The data include spectrograms and waveforms of the different types of Basque clusters analyzed in Dunin-Borkowski (2026). The data come from native speakers of Basque living in Biscay (Getxo, Lekeitio) and Navarre (Goizueta). The data are organized into sections according to the type of the target cluster. For each type, a reduced and an unreduced cluster is shown, for reference. Additionally, for affricate simplification, a spectrogram of /s/ is shown for reference. Section A shows stop deletion in stop-stop and stop-fricative clusters. Section B shows affricate simplification in affricate-stop and affricate-fricative clusters as well as word-finally. Section C shows strident dissimilation, including fricative deletion in affricate-fricative clusters, affricate deletion in affricate-affricate clusters as well as fricative deletion in fricative-fricative clusters.
