The dataset Schizotypy_selfcriticism_Sept2024 consists of data used in a study that examines the relationship between schizotypy, emotional expressivity, self-criticism, and self-reassuring. The data is in the SPSS version 29 program file.
The data was collected from June to September 2024 on a sample of 308 students of the University of Warsaw. Participants were recruited via an online panel from the UW. The study was conducted anonymously, and participation was voluntary. Participants received ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System) as compensation. Participants represented 20 different faculties (77% constitute humanities students). In addition to demographic data, participants completed the following questionnaires: Oxford-Liverpool Inventory of Feelings and Experiences Short Form; the Levels of Self-Criticism Scale; Forms of Self-Criticising/Attacking and Self-Reassuring Scale – Short Form; the Functions of Self-Criticizing/Attacking Scale; the Positive Expressivity Scale and the Negative Expressivity Scale; and the Eight-Item Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale.
The Research Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Psychology, University of Warsaw approved the study on 9 April 2024.
