The dataset contains source and processed experimental data used to prepare Figures 2–4, 6 and 7 of the associated publication on chiral plasmonic films formed from gold nanobipyramids and binary nanoparticle assemblies. The dataset includes:
1. Electron microscopy images of gold nanobipyramids and nanoparticle assemblies (.jpg), including images used for the structural and morphological characterization of individual and binary nanoparticle systems.
2. OriginLab project files containing UV–Vis extinction/absorbance and circular dichroism (CD) spectra (.opju) used for the characterization of the optical and chiroptical properties of nanobipyramid assemblies.
3. Nanoparticle morphology and size-analysis data (.opju), including particle dimensions and aspect-ratio analysis derived from electron microscopy images.
4. Data describing the relative content and organization of gold nanobipyramids within the investigated assemblies (.opju), together with the corresponding optical spectra.
5. Mueller matrix polarimetry data and derived chiroptical maps (.opju), including CD-related and g-factor maps and data used for comparison between Mueller matrix measurements and conventional circular dichroism spectroscopy.
6. Optical and chiroptical data for binary nanoparticle assemblies (.opju), containing gold nanobipyramids and spherical nanoparticles at different relative compositions, together with extinction and CD spectra.
7. UV–Vis and circular dichroism datasets used to investigate the switching/reversibility of the optical response of the plasmonic assemblies (.opju).
8. The published article and Supporting Information (.pdf), provided as reference material describing the experimental procedures, sample preparation, characterization methods and interpretation of the presented data.
The directory structure follows the numbering of the figures in the associated publication, allowing the source data to be directly linked to the corresponding graphical results.
