This repository contains the survey materials used in a study of farmers’ perceptions of farm-related nuisances and potential land-use conflicts in rural Poland. The survey was designed to collect information on farmers’ socio-demographic characteristics, farm characteristics, perceptions of the impact of agricultural activities on rural neighborhoods, and preferences examined through a Discrete Choice Experiment (DCE).
The repository includes:
- the original survey questionnaire in Polish;
- an English translation of the survey questionnaire;
- the DCE choice cards used in the experiment (in Polish).
The questionnaire covers, among other topics, respondents’ socio-demographic characteristics, farm characteristics, perceived farm-related nuisances, relations with the rural neighborhood, and views on potential land-use conflicts.
The DCE component consists of a series of choice tasks in which respondents were asked to select among hypothetical alternatives described by a set of attributes and levels. The choice cards included in the repository document the experimental scenarios presented to respondents.
No survey responses or respondent-level data are included in this repository. The deposited materials consist solely of the research instruments used in the study. The survey data will be made available separately at a later stage, following the publication of research outputs based on the dataset.
The research was funded by the National Science Centre (NCN), Poland; grant no. 2018/29/B/HS4/01354.
