Polski Węzeł GBIF, koordynujący krajowe działania w zakresie publikowania danych w GBIF, działa przy Wydziale Biologii Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Kolekcja prezentuje opublikowane w GBIF zbiory danych autorstwa naukowców z UW oraz powstałe w ramach projektów koordynowanych przez UW.
